Rain Rain Rain

So it's been raining here for a little bit, and one thing I've noticed in the last two years hunkered down in the heartland of Canada (read: Toronto) is that Tropical storms and whatnot actually effect the weather here.

In Winnipeg (from whence I sprung) Tropical storms don't really seem to effect the weather at all. Here often when there is a storm, hurricane, or depressions somewhere East or South East we often catch the tail end of the storm up here. I mean the weather is obviously not as bad as it was when the storm was a foll power, but what we get is still often powerful.

Last night was an example of that I think, nothing crazy just a nice kick-ass thunderstorm that woke Danielle and I up at 6:00am.

Heh that's pretty funny I actually thought to myself as the lightening slashed and the thunder boomed "I wonder if Chris is biking through this..."
