Hmm Crazy Blogger

Hmm this blogger and hello stuff is acting kina weird, there are supposed to be two photo's here of curling and my cats, however they just don't seem to be up there anymore, wacky?

Either way a re-cap of the good old weekend that I had, I went snowboarding with Fiacra and Claire up to Horeshoe Valley on Saturday afternoon, that was pretty fun. Except for the fact that Fiacra hurt his arm, had to stop and then I had to drive home.

Then Saturday night I went curling, which was also a lot of fun. I must say that I think I would make an incredibly average curler if I put some time and effort into it.

Then on Sunday it was movie watching time and Danielle and I watched: Metallica Some Kind of Monster, and I have to say that it was a fantastic movie. Danielle and I both really enjoyed it. I know that you are probably saying, but Metallica I don't really like there music (or maybe you do?) but this movie is more about relationships then Matallica music. It's an extreemly intersting movie and I give it two Eberts, way up in the air.

Hey - your photos are showing up. I am going to see if my Hello at home is/will work again. who knows, maybe the bugs got sorted.

Kinda surprised about your Metallica doc review. Guess it just goes to show you that you don't have to like the subjects of the film to make a good doc. I seem to recall it got pretty much universal good reviews, very much along the lines of yours (hate the band, love the film) so I guess I shouldn't have been too shocked. Perhaps it is just that I was surprised by the fact that you rented it in the first place.

Down this way on the movie front - FINALLY saw Shaun of the Dead. FUH-HUNNY. Well worth the wait; wish I saw it sooner. I laughed my assed clear off. Laura didn't think it was all that and a bag o'chips (or Pig Snacks, as it were), but her blog is named after Dirty Dancing, so I question her taste in movies.

And I don't know if I told you yet or not - watched your copy of Death to Smoochy (also very good) and it worked through to the end. I would have been mighty peeved if I got near the end and didn't see the finish. So I haven't a clue why it won't work on your machine.

Hey Hey Rodney, Yeah Shaun of the Dead is great. Death to Smootchy also really good (although some people don't like it that much). But the think is that I love Rock documentaries and I will basically watch them about anyone. Plus i heard that the Metallica one was pretty good.
