Boss Day!
Hey did anyone else know that October 16th is Boss Day? Seriously....Boss Day?
I'm sure that in factories and office building's around the world people are just lining up to thank their bosses.
And I'm not saying that there aren't any good bosses or anything, but Boss Day like getting all of the people that lost at the Olympics together for an "Olympics Winners Day"... I mean they already won?

i was right pissed. the manager here told me and then didnt get me anything. i am the greatest boss ever- i guess next year's budget i will put my raise ahead of theirs. screw this equality of power and pay.

it's been a bit of an issue around here too.
some of the employees thought we should get the head honcho something, the rest of us thought that it was be hypocritcial since we don't think she is doing a good job, etc.
they did end of going ahead, with a few people contributing, and instead of signing the names of those few, signed on behalf of the whole staff, which i didn't like, but wasn't willing to make a fuss over.

Heh, Dillie next year on Boss Day give yourself a raise and tell them it's becuse you didn't get anything for Boss Day last year.
Laura - Yeah that does suck, I mean the holiday is total BS. It was invented by the bosses daughter! Seems like a bit of an ass kiss move by your co-workers, unless of course they are really pleased by what the boss has done throughout the year...
